The African Business Awards 2026 has announced the nomination of Sierra Leonean CEO and founder of VR&C Marketing, Vickie Remoe, for the prestigious AfBC International Trade Excellence Award.

Vickie Remoe is a prominent media executive and entrepreneur who serves as a crucial bridge for Sierra Leone’s global citizens reconnecting with their homeland. A trailblazer in post-conflict media, she launched the Vickie Remoe Show in 2009, marking the first independently produced television program in post-conflict Sierra Leone.

Further cementing her dedication to economic growth, she established the Sierra Leone Diaspora Investment Conference (SLDIC) in 2023.
